The Challenge: [break][break]
Cases of Drydune fever have been popping up like flies on a dead carcass and while not severe the lack of herbs from this winter's blight has left the packs staggering. Will the packs work together or will they turn against each other in a battle for resources? [break][break]
Drydune Fever is a violent and dry cough that is often times accompanied with sore joints and muscles, running nose, and fever. Headaches and fatigue are common along with shortness of breath. While not severe in any way it is highly contagious. Death is rare, but a possibility. [break][break]
The Cure: Mugwort to help reduce fevers and pain, honey for sore throats, and chamomile to help ease the mind and aid sleep. [break]
The Infected: Mentioned below are the canines who are the first victims of the Drydune Fever. The sickness can still spread to other packmates! Shaman Eowyn of Wacouta, Peacekeeper Rakdos of Sardothien, Apothecary M'aiq of Sardothien, Deerstalker Altalune of Wacouta, and Bloodkeeper Arian of Kalahiri are all infected! [break]
The Problem: Mugwort is in short supply. The only plants left not killed off by the winter frost is growing in the Phiroze Meadow in Sardothien territory. To get to the plants one must either travel brave the Crisce Canyon or travel through central territory. [break][break]

NEW STORE ITEMS
[break]
There are a few new things that can be found in the sites store underneath the
Special Features tab. Have any more ideas? Feel free to pm ideas to a staff member![break][break]
Stage 1: Wendigo - symptoms are mild, borderline non-existent. Stoicism is a common trait along with a penchant for violence. Mood swings are also a possibility.[break][break]
Stage 2: Wendigo - symptoms escalate by a fraction. Mood swings are more common, along with an increased rate of violence and bloodlust. Infected individuals appear as "otherworldly" to others, however, most cannot discern the reason as to why. Regular meat starts to taste funny, unpleasant even. A constant mild feeling of hunger is present, though can be filled for a short period of time before growing hungry again. A craving for canine flesh grows present and eating regular meat can cause infected individuals to become sick. Weight loss is common.[break][break]
Stage 3: Wendigo - the final stage is considered a lost cause. Infected individuals grow unpredictable and extremely violent towards both strangers and loved ones. Hunger drives those infected mad with an uncontrollable rage. The craving for canine flesh becomes unbearable and eating anything other than it will cause both sickness and a burning pain, almost like the meat and blood is poisonous. Infected individuals are labeled a danger to the pack and are either killed or banished. Stage 3 individuals look emancipated, excessively drool, and appear sickly.[break][break]
Yudire's Promise - a promise from Yudire himself, this item acts as a talisman of safety. Wolves with these talismans are granted protection from death. This is a use once item.[break][break]
Freya's Blessing - Freya blesses couples that are in a committed relationship that are incapable of producing successfully on their own. To receive Freya's Blessing one must travel to the Mother Tree and pray to her.[break][break]
Soulmate - this item allows members to choose their Soulmates instead of having it randomized. Both potential Soulmates have to be in agreeable to the union.[break][break]
Factions: Instead of building a pack from the ground up you can create a faction. Factions are small groups of rogue wolves who can group together. Factions are similar to packs, however, the only difference is factions aren't allowed a territory and have a limited number of members. They are also closed to outsiders unless stated otherwise. [break][break]
THE CONCLAVE
[break]
With new successions happening in the packs, staff believed it appropriate to hold a conclave for the three packs and their leaders to meet. The conclave will be hosted at the Crying Creek. Alliances and laws can be made along with pack interactions. This specific conclave is designed purely for the alphas and their packs to meet each other.[break][break]
The conclave will last for
3 days and 3 nights in roleplay, however, won't be considered completed until the alphas believe there is nothing left to discuss.[break][break]
So alphas gather your wolves and head on over to the
Crying Creek![break][break]
THE RESULTS ARE IN!
